Sensfix has joined the Ericsson S5 consortium, a collaborative initiative to demonstrate the viability of AI-powered manufacturing over private 5G networks. The project is centered at a leading manufacturer's factory facility in Poland.
As part of the consortium, Sensfix is deploying its IoT-to-workflow automation pipeline across the 5G-connected factory infrastructure. Sensor data streams are processed through intelligent rule engines, triggering automated maintenance workflows and quality alerts.
Edge processing on the 5G network ensures sub-second response times for critical production decisions, while the high bandwidth and low latency of the private 5G network enables real-time transmission of high-resolution video feeds for computer vision analysis.
The deployment serves as a flagship project for Poland's 5G Accelerator program, demonstrating the convergence of next-generation connectivity and industrial AI.
